"E energija" group hybrid solar park 13,5 MW
The first stage of the 27 MW hybrid wind and solar park project in the Pasvalys district has been successfully completed. The project developer is E energija group. The aim of this stage was to install three solar power plants with a total capacity of 13.5 MW and to reconstruct the grid infrastructure. Upon completion of the full project, the solar and wind farms will be integrated into a single unified control system.
The Energia Futura team was responsible for the general contracting works of the first stage, as well as the design, preparation, and implementation of the hybrid control solution – a system that will connect both the solar and wind power plants into one shared energy management network.
During the project:
-more than 19,000 solar modules and 45 inverters were installed;
-three modular transformer stations were built, which will later this year be connected to the wind turbines;
-on the DSO side, infrastructure reconstruction was completed – the 35 kV overhead line and the Pasvalys transformer substation were renewed, a 2 km 35 kV cable line was installed, and a new switchgear point was built;
-the generation permit (VERT) was obtained, and the solar park is now operating at full capacity.
The second stage will involve full hybridization of the site, integrating the wind farm into the common control system.
The project was completed smoothly and ahead of schedule – thanks to the Energia Futura team for their responsible and professional work, ensuring the success of this complex development.
