ABOUT THE COMPANY
Founded in 2002 in the Raseiniai district, Danish-owned Danspin is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of wool carpet yarn. The company supplies yarn to carpet manufacturers producing carpets for residential properties, hotels, cruise ships, sports facilities and passenger aircraft.
Danspin’s mission is to develop, manufacture and supply high-quality carpet yarn that creates value for its customers. The company continuously adapts its production to customer requirements while investing in more energy-efficient equipment and solutions to reduce CO₂ emissions and increase the use of renewable energy.
SOLUTION
The Energia Futura team installed a 1,650.06 kW rooftop solar power plant for UAB Danspin – one of the largest solar installations on an industrial building completed by our team.
Due to the flat roof structure, a high-quality CPX mounting system was selected. The solution allowed a higher-capacity solar power plant to be installed within the available roof area, with modules positioned in an east-west configuration. This enables solar electricity generation over a longer period, from early morning until late evening.
The project also features Trina Solar modules and high-quality Sungrow inverters. A power limitation solution was implemented through the TSPI system, integrating all of the company’s electricity connections and ensuring that the limits specified in the ESO grid connection requirements are not exceeded.
