Medieva is a roundwood processing company operating since 2010, with its core activities focused on the sawing and planing of roundwood. The company’s main products include sauna cladding, sauna cladding blanks and Euro pallet components.
Medieva has successfully expanded its operations beyond Lithuania, continuously increasing its production capacity and exporting its products to other countries.
Solution
As the solar power plant is installed next to a sawmill, where significant amounts of sawdust and dust are present, the risk of fire is higher. For such higher-risk environments, an optimized solar system is recommended. Due to its reliability, an optimized SolarEdge system was selected, together with five 100 kW SolarEdge inverters.
Solar power plants with a capacity above 100 kW require a teleinformation collection and transmission system (TSPĮ) enabling remote control through the ESO dispatch centre’s DMS system. As part of the project, Energia Futura also carried out the required TSPĮ engineering, commissioning and configuration works.
