One of the largest solar energy projects in Lithuania – the 80 MW solar park in Švenčionys – is nearing completion. The project is being developed by Danish renewable energy company Nordic Solar A/S, which successfully develops renewable energy projects across Europe.

NRG Site acted as the general contractor for this large-scale project, while the Energia Futura team was responsible for the construction of a 30 MW section of the solar park, as well as piling works covering 40 MW of the project.

All works within our scope have now been successfully completed: the mounting structures and solar modules have been installed, the system has been energized, and the site has been handed over for the next stages of commissioning and testing, which will be carried out by the TSPI team.
