About project

The main challenge of this project was to protect the industrial waste landfill, which is covered with a special protective layer. As a result, part of the solar park was installed using a specially designed mounting structure that did not require driven piles.

The solar park features 5,892 Trina Solar bifacial modules, helping increase energy generation efficiency, together with Huawei inverters. In accordance with grid requirements for commercial solar power plants above 100 kW, the Erelis Solar Park was also equipped with a teleinformation collection and transmission system (TSPI), enabling remote control through the ESO DMS system.

As the Erelis Solar Park is located next to the protected Natura 2000 area and close to the habitat of the lesser spotted eagle, all construction works were carried out in accordance with environmental recommendations.

The solar park was expected to generate approximately 4.3 GWh of renewable electricity annually, with an estimated operational lifetime of 30 years. The project is expected to avoid approximately 1,929 tonnes of CO₂ emissions per year.
